Fruštek is the first Slovenian brand of crunchy muesli or granola that we have been hand baking since 2014.
We get delicious mixtures of granola by adding nuts, seeds, dried fruits and spices to oat flakes. Our granola is sweetened only with honey, agave syrup or apple juice and does not contain any added white sugar. Carefully selected ingredients have a high fiber content, which stimulates digestion and gives a long-lasting feeling of satiety. Just pour milk or yogurt over our Fruštek granola and a delicious breakfast is ready!
In addition to classic mixtures of granola, we also bake extra crispy granolas, which are made according to a special inhouse recipe. We sought inspiration in traditional Slovenian dishes and designed a special line of granolas – potica (walnut cake), gibanica (layered cake), strudel (apple strudel) and ajdovi žganci (buckwheat mush).
The Fruštek granola can be a beautiful and delicious gift, therefore, we designed several gift packages. Gift pack “Dobrote iz babičine skrinje” (Goodies from Grandma’s Chest) contains crispy granolas potica, gibanica and strudel. Gift pack “Za 5 popolnih juter” (For 5 Perfect Mornings) contains 5 different small granolas for each working day of the week. Gift pack “Slovenia in a bowl” contains crispy granolas potica and gibanica and a wooden spoon. The box has an illustrated map of Slovenia, and the inscriptions are also in English. We also offer unique ceramic bowls, enamel cups and wooden spoons.
